POINT OF DIFFERENCE

We pride ourselves on #freshisbest and make sure all your food is cooked fresh on site and served to you and your guests just like a restaurant. We do not cook the food off-site and re-heat at your venue. We only book in a limited number of events in one day to ensure you have the best Chefs and servers available at your event. We will not over commit which makes sure our eye for detail is on point at every event we cater.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

PRICING/PACKAGES/MENUS 

Your select date and pricing contained in your quote is valid without deposit for 14 days. Upon receiving your deposit payment and completed booking form, In Season Catering & Events will send official confirmation, by email, advising your event date & pricing is secured. Otherwise, if a deposit has not been received within 14 days the date may be released and you will need to be requoted. Packages & Menus may change without notice pending availability & season.

BOOKING FEE & PAYMENT TERMS 

To secure your function a non-refundable and non-transferrable booking fee of $500.00 is required.  This amount is deducted from your package total as quoted. Further incremental payments are required (25% per payment), evenly spaced out leading up to your event, with the final balance due 2 weeks prior. We will advise the payment plan dates, with your confirmation of booking.

CANCELLATIONS 

If an event is cancelled anytime leading up to the event date, the booking fee paid will be retained by the caterer. If an event is cancelled within 6 months, the $500.00 booking fee & 50% of further payments made will be retained by the caterer. If an event is cancelled within 2 weeks of the event, all monies paid will be retained by the caterer. All monies paid are non-transferrable. 

CHANGE OF DATE 

If you require a date change, please contact us by email with your new proposed date. If within 1 year of original date and we are available, we will transfer your booking over at no additional charge. If over 1 year from original date and we are available, we will transfer your booking, but we may have to re-quote to suit updated price if applicable. If we are unavailable our cancellation policy will apply.

PUBLIC HOLIDAY SURCHARGE 

A surcharge of 15% applies to any event held on a public holiday.

FINAL NUMBERS & FOOD SELECTIONS 

Final numbers and food selections are required no less than 4 weeks before the event and should include any dietary requirements.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS 

We take care to provide appropriate meals for all guests with dietary requirements. We will confirm closer to the event date of your guest’s requirements and prepare a meal suitable if the chosen menu does not meet the requirements. If by any chance your guest’s dietary requirements change on the day or they have a change of mind, we are then unable to provide an alternate meal as we cater specifically as requested. INCIDENTALS

Payment for any incidentals such as damages or losses occur to any crockery, cutlery, glassware or linen napkins and/or additional staffing hours, will be processed the next business day after your event. A credit card guarantee will be required to be provided to In Season Catering & Events, for such incidentals.

TRAVEL TIME 

Travel time over an hour from Southport, QLD will incur a minimum $300.00 surcharge. POA. 

LIQUOR LICENCE REQUIREMENTS 

Our staff practice responsible service of alcohol. Service to minors and unduly intoxicated or disorderly patrons is strictly prohibited. Our RAMP is available for reading upon request. 

CATERING SET-UP (PRIVATE PROPERTY ONLY) 

Please advise what cooking facilities (if any) are available on site. If we cannot use the properties facilities or there are no facilities available, we will need to set-up our portable kitchen which requires a 6m x 3m flat space. Our full set-up is an additional $250.00. We will also need access to a power supply (2 x 10amp min). If none available, additional charges will apply for hire of generator.

VOUCHERS 

Vouchers obtained can be used with any catering service. They are not valid with any other offer. One voucher can be used per booking only. Vouchers outside their expiry date cannot be validated. Minimum spends apply.

DELIVERY FEE 

A delivery fee starting at $35.00 applies to all online orders under $500.00. We will do our best to accommodate delivery times but will be subject to availability. POA for deliveries over 30minutes from Southport.
